Description

Snam is considering the acquisition from the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) of shares of DESFA SA. SNAM has asked POYRY to prepare a proposal for a technical and market Due Diligence Report regarding the gas transmission system and LNG terminal owned and operated by DESFA. To this purpose, POYRY has teamed up with Kantor to provide local gas industry expertise, support to the commercial and technical analysis and language support.

Kantor will complete the following analysis:

  1. Transportation contracts: capacity commitment and related shipper’s name, provisions for early termination
  2. Other contracts: commercial service agreements, interconnection agreements, operational balancing agreements, cooperation agreements with TSOs/LSOs, other companies
  3. Commercial access conditions to the LNG terminal
  4. Organization for the management of DESFA commercial activities

In addition, Kantor is expected to provide translation support for the commercial and technical analysis and opinion on the regulatory evolution as well.
