SENIOR ELECTRICITY EXPERTS (ENI/ELE)
Senior electricity experts of various profiles and disciplines are sought for short term and/or long term positions within donor funded TA projects in SE Europe, FSU, Northern Africa and Middle East countries.
- Advanced university degree in electrical engineering, law , economics or relevant field
- Minimum 10 years relevant professional experience in electricity sector, in one or more of the fields:
- Electricity market development (design, implementation, operation and monitoring)
- Electricity demand, supply analysis and forecasting
- Electricity Codes (Transmission /Grid, Metering, Customer, Distribution)
- Wholesale markets
- Electricity pricing/tariffs (Transmission and distribution tariff methodologies, Ancillary services etc)
- Electricity infrastructure (transmission, distribution) development studies and Master Plans
- Electricity sector legal and regulatory frameworks; EC Aquis approximation
- Electricity projects financial analysis; project financing
- Electricity sector oriented capacity building and training (design and delivery of courses, workshops, study tours etc)
- Consulting expertise and especially experience in working with EU funded or other donor funded TA projects
- Experience in transition economies, especially countries in ENPI, IPA, MEDA (FSU, Middle East, North Africa, SE Europe, Central Asia etc)
- Team Leader or Key expert expertise is a plus
- Excellent command of English
- Languages of the region (Ukraine, Russian etc ) is a plus
- Experience of working in multicultural teams in international assignments
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Stong analytical and reporting skills
- Good computing skills; able to work autonomously with MS Office applications
